The Benefits of Combining Treatments

Combining treatments has many benefits for both clinics and clients. It is a great way to encourage clients to try new treatments whilst still receiving the ones they know and trust – an introduction to an even better ‘package of results’ and the option to customise what is needed from their consultation. This can include combining non-invasive treatments, products and homecare, as well as aesthetic procedures.

Combining treatments can be more effective than just one, clients see better results and quicker!

  • Clients can save money by combining treatments.
  • Technicians can save time by combining treatments.
  • Technicians can upsell treatments as add ons.

As featured in The Consulting Room Magazine, June 2022

Dr Beatriz Molina delivered a Q&A to Artemis Distribution’s partners on how she combines the non-invasive Plason device in her clinic alongside dermal fillers into tear troughs. Referring to the ‘holistic’ approach she uses to combining methods, it is something that she has applied throughout her aesthetics medicine career.

‘Working on the infraorbital region under the eyes for fine lines and wrinkles can sometimes be tricky using toxins alone, Plason can be used as a stand alone treatment to aid this area or to prepare it to combine with future treatments such as dermal fillers. Once a patient has tried it on the eye area they then want to move onto full face, neck and hand treatments as it boosts collagen and stimulates regeneration of the skin.

The energy from Plason opens and changes the skin cells – allowing transdermal delivery of non cross linking products like Hyaluronic Acids, vitamins and supplementations and in some cases to preparare for toxin delivery.

Plason also allows transdermal delivery of Hyaluronidase! So post filler treatments you can use the treatment just once with no injecting to resolve minor issues. The treatment is fast, only 3-6 minutes per eye. It is like a healing device.”

The power of the word ‘AND’

When client’s are having their initial problem solved, AND more, they know that you are working hard to create the best solution possible for their skin and results. This is an easy way to package up a Membership or Subscription programme to encourage ongoing, regular revenue to your business. You could offer a list of available treatments (to your subscription value) each month and allow your clients the option to select two based on their areas of concern such as:

  • Improve skin texture AND tone
  • Increase collagen production AND elasticity
  • Reduce acne breakouts AND acne scars
  • Reduce the appearance of sun damage, AND improve the overall appearance of the skin
  • Reduce fat AND tone loose skin

Many of our retailers have found that two technology led treatments which work well together to achieve overall skin health and resurfacing results are the HydraFacial and the CryoFacial™. The Deep exfoliate and cleaning of the HydraFAcial compliments the collagen, elastin boosting CryoFacial™. By alternating these two treatment devices clients have found improvements in the appearance of:

  • Oily, acne-prone skin
  • Dry skin
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Sun damage
  • Age spots
  • Blackheads
  • Enlarged and clogged pores
  • Inflamed skin tissue
  • Reduce sebum production
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Sagging skin

Combining treatments really is a win-win for both clinics and clients.
